Good to know I am far from unique when it comes to finding and learning the game. Been around the forums there and it is interesting reading – though the reason I have barely posted there, and indeed set up the forums here, is just how many childish posts there are on it – normal for something targetting teh demographic I’m sure, but kind offputting to an old man like me!

Which is why these chaotic forums are set up

a) to have somewhere else
b) to be able to set up extra ’senior player’ sections for older players if things take off
c) because I am teaching myself web development in my spare time and fancied starting a chaotic forum!

Loving your blog btw, a lot of interesting concepts there for me to take on board – and a lot of ones I just don’t understand at all!

I came across chaotic almost the exact same way you did. Not really knowing about the tribes, I just picked Underworld, but quickly shifted to danian when I figured out about them.

But everyone has trouble starting off, the game takes some poking around and getting used to (It’s okay that you haven’t played TCGs much before, because chaotic is hardly comparable to any other game. Yu-gi-oh, magic, pokemon, duelmasters are all kinda similar to each other in gameplay, and totally different to chaotic’s) so if you are lurking around the forums, feel free to look me up in the army builds section or team section and I’d be glad to try and give you some pointers (If I have any worthwhile ones )
