Took a bit longer than I expected getting this site up and running – and the main reason for that is trying to launch the Chaotic Forums, took me awhile to get the hang of the software (run off the SMF – Simple Machine Forum – technology for those that were wondering).
But the good news is that the Chaotic forums are now working, active and ready for your input!
What happens in the Chaotic Forums?
Pretty much everything. To begin with there shall be me looking for advice, that I am hoping you experienced Chaotic players will be able to answer!
You can use it to request a blog on this site – that’s right, we will create blogs for you to run, and you can ask for them via the forums.
There will be useful links, anything from Chaotic episodes to news and reviews.
Deck building, trading, challenging – pretty much anything you want from a forum, and quite possibly more!
Soon we hope to launch such aspects as tournaments with some good prizes, code give-aways, cheap cards and much more. Keep an eye on this blog, and on the forum itself, for the latest announcements.
Why these Chaotic Forums?
Quite simple really. Whilst there are official Chaotic Forums there is an issue with them – it can be hard to talk about what you want to talk about when the games owners are looking over your shoulder. You don’t want to risk your online account by risking getting banned for saying something in their Chaotic forum!
Far better then to use a forum that lets you talk about the things that you want to talk about, without fear of reprimand from the games owners. Whilst we will moderate, we don’t want foul language or abusive people, these Chaotic forums give you the chance to talk about the game, the website or the show in anyway that you want to.
But for now get posting on there… the more you interact the better your chance of getting codes and prizes when we start giving them away!
Oh, and I need a LOT of advice. So please use the Chaotic forums and tell me what I am doing wrong!
