Zenith of the Hive
I picked them up today. Had to be Zenith of the Hive as, unfortunately, there is not exactly a lot of choice in my local Toys R Us. In fact there is no choice. Underworld or Overworld Dawn of Perim starter decks, Danian tins and Zenith of the Hive booster packs – that’s it.
Think I’ve managed to find a UK site that sells them so might have more choice next time, though I am seriously considering approaching a wholesaler or the UK distribution company and buying a bunch to sell on here. We’ll see.
In the mean time it wasn’t the most thrilling set of cards ever – though a couple of stand outs
- Strikto
- Khavakk
- Garv
- 2 Danian Elemental Choral’s
- Ur-shard
- Elemental Elegy
Could be useful – though I’m still trying to work out just what useful is!
A lot were doubles, or more than doubles, which will go up for trade. Really do need to find an outlet that let’s be buy packs that aren’t Zenith of the Hive. I don’t know much about Chaotic (as yet), but I do know that having a wide selection of cards is the way forward!

o_o Ur-shard! That’s lucky
An ultra rare in just four packs! Garv is good, khavakk is good… The elegy is awesome! And Danian Elemental Chorals rock.

hmmm, better than I thought then!
Didnt realize until last night that the Ur-shard was ultra rare, the rules didnt seem THAT ace – think I’ll have to have another look.
Already had a Garv, and one with better stats. Thinking about giving him away on the forum (as he is ‘unique’ so no point having two) to try encourage some sign ups/participations. Will wait to see what my next few packs gets me.
Elegy and the elemental chorals do seem very cool magic, just as well someone suggested i run my masters team with Lore
